The skills they forgot to mention.

I help analytical professionals get taken seriously, lead conversations, and build careers that match their talent.

Hi, I'm Mandy.

I'm an introverted math nerd who has built a career teaching communication skills. I know.

But that's exactly why it works. I didn't figure this out because it came naturally. I figured it out because I had to. And then I spent nearly 20 years watching brilliant analytical people hit a wall — not because their work wasn't strong, but because they kept doing what got them there in the first place.

More models. Better analysis. Deeper technical skills.

When what actually needed work was how they communicated, led, and showed up.

You initially get promoted for your technical skills. After that, the rules change — and nobody tells you.

The origin story

I've always cared about this — maybe more than anything else I've done professionally. Throughout my career I was the person creating training sessions nobody asked for, investing my own time in helping people develop the skills that would actually move their careers forward. Not because it was required.

Because I couldn't help it.

At some point, doing it on the side wasn't enough. That's why Integral Edge exists.

The Background

Towers Watson, where my work centered on cost of care strategy, data-informed decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration across some of the most complex health benefit environments in the country.

I also work with health tech vendors who keep losing deals to skeptical actuaries and consultants — because I've sat on both sides of that table, including co-authoring a financial value white paper used as proof of savings by a health tech client.

Credentials & beyond

I hold a B.S. in Mathematics and Cognitive Studies from Vanderbilt University and an MPH from Johns Hopkins University. I'm a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

I serve on the board for After-School All-Stars North Texas. Outside of work, I'm a marathon runner, a relentless traveler, and someone who takes finding the best local restaurant very seriously.

Professional growth shouldn't require becoming someone you're not. That's what this is all about.
